Daisuke Yamagishi has already demonstrated his impressive abilities on stages both at home and abroad with his solo project, OMB. In the early 90’s, greatly influenced by House music, he began his career as a DJ in Tokyo and then in ‘97 he began producing his own tracks. His atmospheric progressive tracks, overflowing with his sense of groove, began selling in 2002 on Anoyo and his album “Night Shift” proved his polished and composed form. That talent was discovered, both at home and abroad, by big name artists such as Anthony Pappa, which led to many successful releases. OMB tracks are played by a wide range of DJs, including Paul Oakenfold, DeepDish, Hernan Catteneo, Chris Fortier, MoSchic, Seb Fontaine, Cass and John 00 Flemming, and he is now one of the most sought-after Japanese artists worldwide. He also produces many vocal tracks such as the OMB re-mix of Dave Seaman’s ”My own Worst Enemy”, released on Dave Seaman’s own label, Audiotherapy, and appeared on a Cream DVD along withthe Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Tiesto, which brought him lots of attention. Recently, one of his tracks was used in the X-BOX game “Project Gotham Racing 2”, another example of his remarkable successes vaulting him from the underground.
